What is a Measured Building Survey?
A measured building survey contains a wide range of data including floor plans, elevation and sections. Structural elements such as walls, columns and beams are shown on the floor plan. Measurements and descriptive text accompany the drawing to give a clear representation of the building or structure.

Measured surveys are a crucial part of property development planning. An architect will use the measured building survey to create accurate plans with precisely drawn measurements of floor areas as well as the rooms widths and heights.
